Rules
Progress through the waves of enemies without dying to make it to the final boss. Throughout there is a pickup that when you reach 5 (displayed in the top right) you will gain an extra life, or 1000 points if at full health. However, to use your bombs you need at least one of this pickups to fire with the max being at 4. Try to survive and earn as many points as possible to reach a new highscore. Good luck!
Story
Using a mysterious golden liquid that your father left behind you power up one of his prototype ships to go out searching for him.
Out in space, you've been directed down a path where you must defeat waves of evil space robots to find your missing dad who went looking for more of this strange, gooey power, perhaps he shouldn't have...
Behind the Scenes
This game is mostly based on the Shmup tutorial videos on Youtube posted by LazyDev Academy. When making this I wanted to take a good personal spin on it adding little tweaks of juiciness. I also wanted to add a loose story to the game but I couldn't settle on one so there are many iterations of each sprites because I wanted them to match the story. From the constanting changing I settled on evil robots as enemies because no matter what they're easy to explain, because they're evil... and robots... It was when I made the oslime that I decided I would base the main theme around that. Originally it was gonna be a classic military story following fighter jet sprites but then I realized jets don't go in space. I also thought the military idea really basic and limiting.
